FALLON, Nev. (June 8, 2017) - Exciting news! We are officially on "countdown" to move to our new building. Please mark your calendars to attend the Grand Opening ceremony of the William N. Pennington Life Center that will be sponsored by Churchill County on June 27th at 10:30am at 952 South Maine Street. Grand Opening of the William N. Pennington Life Center

FALLON, Nev. (June 5, 2017) - On June 27 at 10:30am, join the community on this momentous occasion for the grand opening of the new Churchill County Senior Center which will now be called the William N. Pennington Life Center. A ribbon cutting, tours, and lunch will follow the program. This event is open to the public. View the flyer for more information about this special event!

Churchill County Senior Center - Activities and Menu

FALLON, Nev. (May 30, 2017) - Attached is the activity and menu calendar for the month of June. The last calendar for the Churchill County Senior Center! After June 19th, they will be living in their new home, the William N. Pennington Life Center.

Enrollment for Nevada Medicaid is OPEN!

FALLON, Nev. (May 25, 2017) - A special enrollment period for Nevada Medicaid is open from April 1-June 30, 2017. View the following Medicaid organizations' brochure to learn more information. WNC Employability Skills Class

FALLON, Nev. (May 25, 2017) - Students will understand the basic skills necessary for getting, keeping, and doing well on a job. Once students understand the skills and characteristics that most employers seek, students can tailor their job search and communications (resume, cover letter, etc.) to show-case how well their background aligns with job requirements. The class starts on Friday, June 16 (5-7pm) and Saturday, June 17 (9am-noon). View the flyer for more information about the class.

Writer's Workshop - Creative Writing

Banner Churchill Leadership Sees Two Changes

FALLON, Nev. (May 9, 2017) - Hoyt Skabelund, who has served as CEO since 2017, has accepted the position of Division CEO for Banner Health's rural hospitals. Rob Carnahan will move from his current role as chief nursing officer at BCCH to become CEO in Fallon. Learn more about this exciting news by viewing the flyer.

Clothing Drive

FALLON, Nev. (May 4, 2017) - We are officially kicking off our event with the request for gently used, clean clothing donations for the Community Clothing Give-Away portion of the event. March of Dimes Recognizes Banner Churchill for Work to Give More Babies a Healthy Start

FALLON, Nev. (April 26, 2017) - Banner Churchill Community Hospital received recognition from health leaders in Nevada for working toward the safest start at life for Nevada’s youngest residents. This was accomplished through a hospital practice regarding when physicians can deliver babies by cesarean section without a medically-necessary reason. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

FALLON, Nev. (March 16, 2017) - The ASIST program is designed for caregivers seeking to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Training begins on August 16 & 17, 2017 from 8-5 both days. Location of training is the Western Nevada College Campus at 160 Campus Way, VGH Hall- room 304, Fallon, NV. Fee for training is $60 per person. Room for 30 people.
